BTW, I have a new sponsor, an ex-Marine. He has been sober for 35 years last Tuesday. I have been sober for a month as of Thanksgiving day. A good step in the right direction. He is not the DI type but doesn't have much tolerance for BS, either. Lying is a huge issue in AA. To yourself most of all.
