>>>The more I think about this, the more irritated I become. As I said, I have always admired and liked Tiger -- more admired, since he is kind of a cold fish -- but this has changed my opinion. Regardless of the circumstances of the accident, I don't like him essentially flipping off the police. I don't like the abuse of money and power. If that had been you or me, we damned sure wouldn't get away with refusing to talk to the police. We would either talk to them or find ourselves in an interrogation room or cell.

>>Mike, Mike, Mike. That's not unique to Tiger. Money/Power allows the privelaged class to have privelages we don't get to have. It's always been that way. That class of people are all one color - green. So, they will always be able to skirt the law, kinda like Ted "Killah" Kennedy and countless others.

>An article I read yesterday implied that, in the circumstances, the Woods were under no legal obligation to speak to the police. Is that true?
>If so then it could be argued that they have the same right to privacy as the non-rich and famous.......

I read the same thing. It still reeks. If it was really just a minor accident why is he being so evasive, hiring a lawyer, and so forth? This is not the way an innocent person acts.

Yes, innocent until proven guilty. I believe in that. It's just that sometimes you get a sense.
