I recently started working on a new job. All of the projects that I am working on have been converted from Fox Dos into Visual by using the converter. All of the forms have been set up using the special read compatibility for converted screens and the runner program sets up a foundation read. The problem I have is that I need to add new forms to these projects. The forms are called up fine and appear fine but will not respond to any events and all you can do is to close them down. I think that this is becuase of the foundation read that is still in use. My idea was to close this read and start up a normal Fox READ EVENTS for my forms, and then start up the read again once my forms have finished running. I can't seem to clear this read though. CLEAR READ ALL doesn't kill it. This means that none of my forms will work, and it isn't possible to add new "read compatible" forms. If I can't solve this then the only solution will be move all the converted code from the READ compatible methods so that the forms will function as normal Visual Forms. This would take ages though and I'm sure that there must be a way around this problem. Can anyone help?
