I heard about a similar problem when a VFP 5 VCX file was added to the project. I think it was caused by some binary characters in the VCX file that are ignored by VFP 5, but cause VFP 6 to crash. Try to browse the VCX file and look for binary characters especially in one of the RESERVED fields. If you find them, remove them. Make a backup before you edit the VCX file!

>I recently installed VFP6.0 beta on my new Windows 98 computer. When I create a new project using MODI PROJ and click the Code tab or Code treview branch my computer hangs. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall VFP. I've also tried deleting foxuser resource files and packing the .pjt table. None of this worked. Has anyone heard of any solutions for this problem?
