In this case my memory is not faulty. The numbers the Bush administration tossed out there about the costs in Iraq were completely bogus, as was the pretext for invading in the first place. There was none of the hoo-ha we are getting now about we aren't even going to approve it unless you can show it's completely funded.

>Your memory is faulty again. Different president, different administration, same old same old:

>>Norway is fortunate to have so much oil money, but kudos to them for saving some of it for a rainy day.
>>
>>Funny how Obama is now expected to explain how he is going to pay for the surge in Afghanistan, after being expected to explain how he is going to pay for health care reform. I don't remember the Republicans saying anything about how they were going to pay for tax cuts (which did indeed mostly benefit the rich). Or this misbegotten adventure in Iraq.
>>
>>>Unlike our government which used the money to fund tax breaks for the rich and unemployment benefit for the poor.
>>>
>>>>I used quotation marks for a reason. We use the oil money to invest and save for the future, we don't just spend them. You can read more here http://www.norges-bank.no/templates/article____69365.aspx

>>>>>How would you define too much money
>>>>>
>>>>>>Maybe, and maybe not. But we have a completely different situation here than most other countries. Norway has "too much money", so for us this is only "pocket money".
>>>>>>
>>>>>>>No its not a scam but it should be kept in perspective. The money spent on tamiflu could have been better spent elsewhere.
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>I will forward your message to the families of the nearly thirty people who have died of the swine flu here in Norway. Their family members are not dead, it's only a scam by the politicians. Or as I use to say, they died of something harmless.

>>>>>>>>>This whole thing with the swine flu is a bunch of crap. It is false. If you follow the money, billions of dollars are being made on this supposed "epidemic". I do not believe that there is an epidemic of swine flu. But, there is an epidemic of lying politicians and greedy people making lots of money off of this supposed "epidemic". If people trust the federal government, they are in for a rude awakening.
