Sometimes, in their CONFIG.FPW file, people put references to third-party software such as frameworks etc. Can you post the contents of your CONFIG.FPW? Does it contain anything unusual?
If the third-party software isn't installed on the new computer, maybe that could cause problems.
Another thing to try would be to rename your FOXUSER.* resource files, see if that helps.
Also, if you're running antivirus, try temporarily disabling any real-time scan engine. With antivirus, you should already be excluding the FPW folders and file types, and the temp files folder from real-time scanning.
Also, check the TMPFILES setting in CONFIG.FPW. If it's pointing to a folder that doesn't exist on the new computer, that might cause problems.
