Honestly for this simple code I don't see a reason for such error unless the previous line resulted in error (cursor was not created), but the error was not displayed for some reason and the next error was displayed.
The only way to tell is to capture the command into clipboard, interrupt the program (suspend) and try to execute this command separately.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
