I am using the SaveAs propery of an Ole object property to save the content of a general field into a file. For Word documents, this works. I obtain a .doc file on disk but when I look at it in Word, the view is corrupted. I can however see most of it but it is badly generated. For Excel documents, this works as well. But, when I open my xls file, I have an empty window in Excel. As for PDF, the SaveAs is not availabe. So, I have the following questions:

1. Is it the best we can do for Word content in a general field?
2. Is there a way to have it work for Excel file?
3. How can we save a general field content of a type PDF?

Or, is there a better way to achieve that?
