this.parent is not object would mean I wrote something wrong in hierarchy. Today my connection is killing me again, I couldn't browse to that code. Would you pls paste it for me. This.parent.parent.cbmCode.value :
"this" is a control in a form.grid.column as I remember. this.parent would refer to its parent which is form.grid.columns(x) and this.parent.parent would refer to parent of column which is form.grid itself. So "This.parent.parent.cbmCode.value" code refers to "form.grid.cbmCode.value". I think error is there. I should see and remember code.
