What does that do exactly?

My goal is to be able to search for that particular string in a general field that I have converted into a single FPT. But, I have it in HEX. Those two should be for Excel to represent potential headers based on an Excel version.

I got that from:

So, basically, instead of converting that to CHR() characters, if I could search directly in that HEX format, that would be simpler.
