>>>I'm amazed at your "positive" outlook, especially considering all the "negatives" that surround you, like -35, -43, etc. lol

>>We have endured chillier temps. Personally, the coldest I have been in is minus 48, but after about minus 35, it's all the same. As we like to say, 'It's a very dry cold.' :)) BTW the inside of your nostrils do freeze a bit while breathing at these temps. Keep having fun.

>I went on an elk hunt in Colorado once and it got down to -25. We were camping out, but we didn't really get cold because we prepared for it. You could spit and it would freeze before it hit the gound. And, yes your breath freezes on your mustache or beard. Even with weather that cold, I liked it. I'd rather have to prepare for that than deal with 100+ weather with mosquitoes, flys, snakes and spiders. When it's below 32, you don't have those critters to deal with.

I agree a good well prepared tromp through the bush and a camp fire meal make for a good day. And of course, falling asleep in a favorite chair later that evening is part of the ritual. Our weather forecast has been revised and they are predicting minus 36 instead of minus 43 (The F and C temp scales meet at minus 40)
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
