Beyond what Craig said in response to your question, something to keep in mind is that if you do automatically go from Pro to Premium (or any level up), you will likely pay more for renewing your MSDN subscription a year later. So this combined with the fact there is no longer a VS 'standard' edition, developer licenses will mostly get more but also pay more.
