It is dangerous already. Just think about the amount of money which will start circulating in the shape of carbon tax, and the trade of carbon offsets - which are as material as the papal indulgences once were. Then think of that money being taken out of circulation and concentrated in a few hands. Where will that money go, who will have the power? Follow the money...
