Are you accessing data on the server locally or through network shares?

>I have a problem. My application is running very well on my notebook but when I run it from the server on even directly ( and alone ) on the server the apps slow down in a very significant manner. ( Some operation need 15 seconds instead of 1 ) The operations targeted by the problem are some "skip" without any SQL command.
