What do you mean "compiled with Cryptor"? I have a situation where I'm using Cryptor version 4 in an app. It's been running well for a number of years, but now we have a situation with slow saves after a move to a 64 bit server/OS. Naturally, VFP runs on the workstation and simply communicates with the server for file access, but I'm wondering if the 32-bit compatibility mode comes into play here. I would think not, but I'm not sure. I've always used Cryptor (I wouldn't call it "compiled with Cryptor" since it is a separate, stand-alone library) and have never seen any performance degradation (though I'm sure there is just a little bit). What did you do differently with Cryptor that solved your problem?

Thanks,

Russell Campbell
