I have an app I created for a client that has been in place for a number of years. Network performance has always been good. They recently moved from a 32-bit server (Win2003) to a 64-bit server (Win2003 R2 64-bit). Performance, at least on one form, has gone down. The app runs on WinXP and Vista workstations in 32-bit (no 64-bit OSs on the desktop). When accessing the files via the server, I wouldn't think the 32-bit compatibility mode comes into play, but I'm not sure, since VFP is running on the workstation. However, a possible slowdown due to 32-bit compatibility crossed my mind. I'm having them double-check on the AV software and whether it's scanning VFP files. Also, the OpLocks setting needs to be checked. But . . . does anyone have any other ideas or have you experienced a similar issue. The indexes are all there. Have been for quite some time and still are. That's not an issue.
