For most apps, this is probably fine (unless you want to drill down into a grid's controls, too). However, one of the nicest things about VFP (over VB and VC++) is that I can define container classes that contain either common functionality (like a combo with an associated button to open the lookup table) or app functionality (like a set of controls that go on more than one form).
