Here is a FWIW, if the content isn't already locked down and if FoxPro developers are part of your target audience. If not, please simply disregard.

The other morning at work I chased the link you gave me about integrating TFS with VFP. (As you may recall, my specific goal was to get useful SCA files, which used to be possible with Visual SourceSafe). It didn't work. Maybe it really is possible but I couldn't find a way to do so in the time I was willing to put on the billing meter.

I like TFS so far. It just seems to have been developed with no thought whatsoever of VFP. If you can bridge that gap, you will deserve major kudos around here. An appendix or an online link to the book maybe? I would buy your book -- probably will anyway -- for that reason alone. Even if I do have to pay more than 39 cents <g>.

BTW, change of subject, I remember you criticizing the blue field at Boise State. By coincidence I had lunch a couple of weeks ago with a guy I used to work with whose son is a starting offensive lineman for Miami of Ohio. They played at Boise State this year and he (the son) said it was not a distraction at all playing on it. He mainly remembers the mountains in the background. Those of you who live near mountains are very fortunate -- take it from a flatlander.

>Thanks. We've done lots of rework on that chapter, and others, to make the book better. We've also reorganized chapter order and added another. And after Microsoft's announcement that TFS will be available to pretty much every VS user, we're including TFS coverage too.

>>Craig, your book looks very interesting (just read the first chapter). Looking forward to next summer when it's released.
