I would ***strongly** suggest using West Wind Web Connect to get this job done. You can certainly and easily use SQL server as your data source, or mix VFP and SQL as you see fit. Then you can use VFP in the middle tier to do your data processing and massaging the most efficient way possible.

I've used Web Connect for many light-to-heavy data usage Web projects, and it's been fantastic. With the latest versions I can design my screens in Visual Studio (if I want), so the WYSIWYG design is extremely simple, easy and efficient (compared to the old way of coding HTML by hand)
