That's great. If you've a mind to, you'll still be young enough to share sports with her in her teen years.

I'm 61 and my first grandchild is only 6 months old. By the time he's old enough to be really active I doubt that shuffleboard, 30 minute miles, or buffet-searching will appeal to him. At the moment, we can drool together but he'll be getting tired of that just about the time I get really good.

OTOH, I've got a really great lap he'll be able to crawl onto!!!!!

Congrats, enjoy, and spoil.........that's what grandparents are for.
