I have been working with the Activex Loader. I have found some interesting behaviour. I noticed that the activex control being created (using debug) was COMCTRL.Treeview.1 This is from the COMCTL32.ocx SP2. This is as expected. However, when I created a new form and used an ActiveX control in VFP 6 the control created was MSCOMCTRLLIB.Treeview.2.

It looks like VFP6 has introduced a new treeview control in a different library! I was able to use the new control by modifying the loader class to MSCOMCTLLIB.Treeview.

This kind of messes with the way the loader works.

Why do I want the new control? Problems with the older treeview when modal forms overlayed a form with a treeview on it.

Any comments?
