SQL Server has a set of OLE automation procedures:
* sp_OACreate
* sp_OADestroy
* sp_OAGetProperty
* sp_OASetProperty
* sp_OAMethod
* sp_OAGetErrorInfo
* sp_OAStop


You definitely don't want to do that in a trigger though.
