>And by the way, from what I can see, it appears you're winning the battle - that's great to hear.

Thanks. I will stop short of saying "winning." I have heard too many sober men and women in AA meetings, often for years, say they know they are only one drink away from going back to the way they used to be. Have also seen a number of people lose their sobriety after being that way for a while. I have an unfortunate tendency to get complacent so know this is something I have to guard against.

Where I am working now (contract through May) is a SQL Server 2008 shop. The data model is quite good, which is not something I always say. The code, written in VFP, is not nearly so good, unfortunately. The other day I was working on an enhancement and came across a button Click() method with nearly 1000 lines of code! LOL. I wish I were making that up.

Your first Christmas with Katy -- I'm sure it was a very nice one. These are the memories you will hang onto later when the years start whizzing by a little faster.

I saw this morning that Urban Meyer is resigning after Florida's bowl game. It surprised me but good for him. His body has been warning him that he's putting too much strain on it by working so hard, and he is too competitive to coach any other way. A wise man. National championships and winning percentage don't seem so important when they appear in your obituary by the time you are 50. Next stop for him in my guess: motivational speaking,
