>>You imagine or you know for a fact? I have known Steve for a number of years (out of touch now) and that doesn't sound like something he would do. I realize he has a confrontational nature and has had his dustups with people, but stabbing them in the back is not his style. His outlook is basically that of a scientist, which is what he studied "in university."

>>Steve is one of those people who is much more charming in person than you might guess from some of their online posts.

>While I like Steve and agree with all you say, I think in regards to Kevin's question and Al's answer, Steve would certainly monitor for maliciousness or abuse. I've never seen ad hominum opinion on the Fox Wiki (though I admit I don't go there much and haven't really looked for it) but I'm sure if someone were to just post sophomoric trash Steve wouldn't have any problem doing just what Al said. And I'm sure that the change traffic these days is low enough that it is easy to monitor <s>

Maybe you're right. I still don't see Steve taking an active monitoring role. He has better things to do with his time. The whole idea of a wiki (in which he was again ahead of the curve in bringing it to the FoxPro world) is that "ordinary" members enforce the rules. Democracy in its purest form.

Are you getting this same crap weather? We got dumped on pretty good yesterday, me driving around doing errands for more than I could have used of it. It stopped overnight and has now resumed. Seems like a good day to stay in, cook a pot of chili, and watch football. Contributing to this plan is that the Bears are not playing today <g>.
