>>You imagine or you know for a fact? I have known Steve for a number of years (out of touch now) and that doesn't sound like something he would do. I realize he has a confrontational nature and has had his dustups with people, but stabbing them in the back is not his style. His outlook is basically that of a scientist, which is what he studied "in university."

>>Steve is one of those people who is much more charming in person than you might guess from some of their online posts.

>A while back JVP made some "interesting" posts on the Fox Wiki. I can't recall if SB reverted them, but he did block JVP's IP address.

>JVP then tried various techniques to work around the IP blocking (proxies, open hotspots etc.). SB blocked them all as they were encountered. Then, JVP was at Rod Paddock's place, edited the Fox Wiki from there and SB blocked Rod's IP; Rod had to ask SB to reinstate him.
>
>So for sure, SB blocks IPs if he considers them sufficiently annoying.

OK.

Personally I consider that sufficiently annoying. JVP would have been booted from here for doing the same. Oh, wait, he was.
