It is perfectly possible to do exactly what you suggest and it will post and change the contents of the page. However, there are a number of volunteeer housekeepers that will most likely catch the garbage and return the page to what is was before the ignorant posting. The volunteer house keepers have an intrface that shows them the full history of the page and they can restore any version of the page in history. I know this beacuse I have often changed pages that were hijacked for spam back to their original content.

The wiki is self monitoring and for the time the Fox Wiki has existed there has not been a lot of need to do policing because the folks posting there are for the =most part professionals interested in furthering the knowledge base and are not adolescent idiots that want to make trouble and cause "scenes".
