The sky is falling, the sky is falling! <g>
Guess what, Cecil? The sky is not going to fall, nor are we going to embrace Communism or Socialism. (Amazing how many people apparently do not know the meaning of the words). This is all hysteria ginned up by industry lobbyists and their Republican lackeys.
>The problem is not only that the quality of healthcare will decline, and that costs will rise due to the huge government infrastructure, but that freedom overall will also decline as the government delves into more aspects of and control over the peoples' private lives. Welcome to SOCIALISM and COMMUNISM!

>>>Where did you get the idea that the reform bills that just passed are aimed at providing "ultra-luxury care for every man, woman, and child"?

>>Nobody wants to die, and as long as somebody else is paying, we will all keep spending without regard to cost.
>>That is quite a luxury that we, as the middle class, take for granted.
