>>>>>>Knowledge may not be the best word here. You know you are one of my favorite people on the UT but I don't quite get your antipathy toward Muslims. I honestly do believe most of them (99+%?) are peaceful. Nothing in the Koran says go out and slaughter those who disagree with you. This does not deny that a certain number are indeed zealots, terrorists. A recent story in the NY Times documents that there are still more Islamic terrorists in the U.S. than any of us should be comfortable with. But you're still painting with a pretty broad brush.

I have read it many times and I've posted about it here in the past. When you actually read it, you will find that your statement is inaccurate. You make statements about something you know nothing about. I will not post the places where violence is condoned or even ordered because that would be irreverent to the rest of it and those peaceful folks who follow it.

>>>That didn't stop you from making the same blanket statements about Beck's Common Sense, without even reading it.

>Just kidding! I've since moved and I didn't really expect them in the mail anyway :)

Sorry about the delay. I put "The Good Soldiers" aside for a while. It didn't get any less good, I just got in the mood for something lighter (mostly mysteries). To be honest I had forgotten about "The Girl Who Played With Fire." Will finish up "The Good Soldiers" and send them both off to you. Just PM or email me an address where you will get them.
