The animation control only works with very simple Animation files.
It's not meant for displaying movies but for things like the moving
icons for file copy etc. It's fairly lightweight too and this is
the reason why.
If you need full AVI capability another option is to use the
WebBrowser control. It can host AVI easily. There's also another
MS ActiveX control but I'm not sure which one it is at this point.
I think it's the ActiveMovie control?
