>Just like Christianity is big on inquisition, passing laws without consulting other citizens, running crusades, insinuating itself into all crevices of one's life. So what.

>Yet, your examples were all for catholics. I think that whether or not catholics are christians is irrelevant. There is absolutely nothing inaccurate about your examples that I can see. The question really is, are all christians considered violent or controlling due to the acts committed by catholics? :o) Are Baptists, Lutherans, Anglicans, Pentecostalism, Methodists, and every other christian religion responsible for the acts of the catholic church?

Baptists (17th century), Lutherans (1517+), Anglicans (not sure but probably 16 or 17th century?), Pentecostalism (20th century?), Methodists (18th century) are all newer than the inquisition and the crusades and they all have their roots on Catholicism, right? So, why not?
