Yes, I live in heaven, and I know it. And I live in 2009 and don't spend my time hammering my chest for something that happened more than half a century ago and which I had nothing to do with. I talk about today's reality.

We are now probably the richest country in the world, thanks to our national resources which we have used to invest in the future instead of building a balloon economy which had to blast sooner or later. Did you know that Norway now owns more than two percent of all the stocks in the world? That's a lot of stocks for a country with less than one thousandth of the worlds population.

And by the way, our welfare happened despite that our government has been controlled by socialists roughly fifty percent of the time after WW2. I don't like socialism either, but believe me, the American "man in the street's" view of socialism is far, far from the reality.

>It must be nice to live there in heaven. We Americans are just stupid, and therefore we can't help it. But, even though we are stupid, your country is probably free today because of our past stupidity, as is France, England, Germany and the whole of Europe.May we never become like that model country you live in. Taking instructions on how to be a world leader from your country would be like an ant crawling up an elephant's leg, with rape on his mind....

>>>I'm sure that in Norway, like down here, you also have media that have a certain political colour, but even those would even give you the feeling it was unbiased. is is absolutely NOTHING compared to whats happening over there.
>>>
>>>When I'm at the Toronto office with my colleages, CNN or FOX is always in the back ground. I always have to laugh once or twice a day for what crap its feeding you. My canadian colleages always look with an odd face when I do that :)

>>My personal experience from discussing politics with Americans, is that I rather go pi$$ing against the wind, the net result is the same. The word ignorance is like saying that Sahara has some sand. The Americans, with very few exceptions, have absolutely NO idea what they are talking about, but they have so big mouths and too small and brainwashed heads to understand. And to make the farce complete, they say that Russians and Chinese are brainwashed. It's laughable and it's sad at the same time.

>>Now I will have a beer to celebrate the upcoming new year. Happy new year, Walter. And the same to everyone else who reads this.
