Building a help file in many ways is like building a program. It can be very complex, depending on the features you wish to include. Even at it's simplest, it's probably more complex than can easily be explained here. The Help Compiler Workshop's help file contains all the information you need to create your own help file. The file name is HCW.HLP, there are two topics you should read carefully: "Designing Your Help System" and "Step by Step Procedures". These will provide you with all the information you need.
