Thanks Naomi

The scenario is as follows

1. User go to a form to maintain records

2. User exits the form

3. User runs a batch job and hit "TABLE BUFFER FOR ALIAS XXXX CONTAINS UNCOMMITTED CHANGES"

Is there a VFP function that I can use to detect a buffer is dirty?

If so can't I use the TABLEUPDATE() to flush the buffer?

Your advice is much appreciated

Many Thanks & Best Regards
