I have some friends that would like to be able to do credit cards from their web site. They have a large membership and they want to give them the ablity to renew their membership over the web. Currently a $50 a year charge. They also have T-shirts and stuff. I don't think we are not talking a lot of transacions. Maybe a couple of hundred per year. The site has been up for about a year and a half and only recieved a couple of thousand hits.

I've looked at SSL, and it looks like a lot of money for certs and all that. I have not done anything requiring encription and am not sure what is doable. Any ideas where I can start looking or recommendations.
