>When we woke up that morning, we had no hot water coming out of any of the faucets in the house and the toilet in the downstairs loo would not flush because we had no water going to that. I cranked the heat up to 64, opened all the cabinets, and opened all the faucets in the house full blast. About half an hour later i heard a POP and there was water flowing everywhere in the house. So I guess it was pretty close <s>.
A narrow escape, then. That's good. I had some pipes along an exterior wall in a vacation home in Wisconsin freeze and break several years ago. No fun. We were away and thought the house had enough heat. (About the same temperature some of you keep most of the time, LOL). We thought wrong.
