And I program on a laptop most of the time and its a non-issue. A tiny 1.5cm device smaller than my wireless mouse USB stick. Such anecdotes mean nothing.

If one can throw out an entire (developer IDE) product sight unseen on this issue then there is little point to continue the discussion.
