>We have a problem retrieving varchar fields, from Oracle 10g, with Oracle 10 ODBC drivers, where the varchar is greater than 254. Foxpro creates a cursor with a memo field (because of the size of the varchar). The creation of the memo field isn't a problem, however, each character is terminated with a null vallue (which is a problem) e.g. B^O^O^K^ (where ^ represents a null value). Using Oracle 9 ODBC drivers against the same database does NOT produce this problem. Has anyone had similar issues with ODBC drivers and VFP?

Is it Unicode column in the Oracle table? See if SYS(987) can help.
