I have worked with both nHibernate and MS Entity Framework, and there's no question that nHibernate is more mature and has solved a number of the problems that will be addressed in the next version of the Entity Framework. That said, we have a number of clients using Entity Framework successfully--sometimes it requires using Visual Studio 2010 to open the Entity Data Model diagrams, but a lot of the pain will go away in March with the release of VS 2010 and .NET 4.0. We recently integrated MS Entity Framework with MM .NET--we had to plug a number of holes to get everything working properly, but as usual with MS, the EF story will continue to improve over time.
