Kevin, this was the first time I bothered commenting about the EF since previous discussions when I tried to say that L2SQL is more accessible/productive, but was scolded by several MVPs that the EF is the future. ;-) So now SQL Server 2008 is the future? Quick, everybody rewrite!
;-)
OK, sorry to be provocative! Want to give us some examples where you believe SQL2008 can overcome the EF dismay?
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
