First a new cherry red Trans Am, a car that will always have a place in the smile place of my memory. Then two new Corvettes, then a new RX7 turbo. The RX7 was a dud. Maybe it was having to follow Vettes, maybe I got a lemon, I don't know. IAC it was the last sports car for me. A man gots to know his limitations -- You Know Who. Guys my age driving Corvettes, at least without a hot woman in the passenger seat, are as sad as a combover.

I've never had a vette, but I did have a gold Firebird that was smoking hot. I've also had 3 Benzs and they were nice, especially the 500. I loved my Isuzu Troopers, and still have one that I use as an extra and for hunting, but the mileage is trrible, just trrible. I think I've found the car I will always drive in the Jetta. I've got 113k on this one and I plan to drive it for another 200k, but whenever it dies, I'll get another that is a few years old. As for the Toyota Tacoma, I've had three of those too and they are wonderful. My wife wants to replace the 2003 Volvo V70XC next year and she wants a Tacoma. The only thing wrong with that is - she will be able to haul more stuff back home!
