>>>I can see it now...a Dallas/Jets Super Bowl!!! :)

>>Don't know if we'll see that, but Sanchez is looking like the real deal.

>The jury is still out on that. The Jets did a masterful job of running a game plan that didn't allow him to hurt them.

>The people who should be wondering what they spent their $110+ million on are the Bengals. Carson Palmer was atrocious. In fact his career has been pretty atrocious so far for a guy who was selected #1 in the entire draft. No wonder the Bengals run the ball so often.

>Sour Bears fan note: it's great to see the Bears were right in drafting Cedric Benson so high ;-) The league is full of guys who did not succeed here and are playing well for other teams. Hmmm.

Revis shutting down 85 made Palmer's difficulties even worse. Jets defense was scary good.

Sanchez only through 15 times but the 12 completions were mostly very good passes - and Braylon Edwards dropping the touchdown pass ( echoes of his Browns career ) kept those numbers from even being better. I really thought Sanchez looked good - but not nearly as good as he's going to look next year.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
