This year it's like "no rush - it'll still be there tomorrow". Even the park pond frozen over enough for people to walk on it, and the local police, of course experts on ice mechanics (obviously never watched "Ice Road Truckers"), chasing everyone off, even though the ice 2"+ and the water no more than 2' deep!


Plus 7 C here on the frozen tundra today. The Yak's and Lemmings are leaping about in a state of glee while the igloos melt.
