You may take a look at my last answer to Erik Moore (Re: VFP 6.0 SaveAsClass), I've posted a generic solution for option/commandgroups. With a class defined that way, you simply use the default buttons, and they get replaced with your class of buttons at .init of the group (thanks to David Frankenbach, it was his idea, AFAIR).

The other question was answered this weekend, search for thread "How can I create a new VCX or subclasses programmatically".
