I have seen this question bantered around at least a dozen times. Lot's of ideas as to how to do it, but none of them work. AFIELDS() is the only method that works and that works ONLY for fields, not memvars.

So, I guess I am saying that you can waste a whole lot of your time, or you can use AFIELDS() right away. Either way you will end up using AFIELDS().
