Hi David,
As far as I know, you are not missing anything. I noted this behaviour in the RTM pre-release I have and Miriam Liskin (in her Foxpro Advisor article in Ocober's issue) noted the same thing in her Beta release. If you are using the full release, it looks like it is still there. This is not the only strange behaviour with the add option. In my version the add option adds by opening a new version of the form (0r if you allow only a single instance the add can only occur if the form is not already open). It looks like there has to be some analysis of the code to see if there is something we are missing or if this weird behaviour is to be considered "normal" now. HTH
