>>>Yeah, sub-zero temperatures.

>>>I should not make light of this in any way. With daylight coming they are going to find out just how much damage the earthquake did. My guess is this is going to be a truly rotten day in Haiti.

>>It's already considered the worst natural disaster in history (according to Bill Clinton speaking for the UN today on CNN) The news reports and videos and stories are truly horrendous.

>It's probably going to be a while before there is any accurate assessment of the devastation. Clearly, it's great. The President of Haiti saying Port au Prince has been "destroyed" and estimating the dead at 100,000 reminded me of some of the early estimates from the New Orleans mayor after the levees broke. No question it's really bad, though.

We have sent a recon group from our army to assess the mess. I imagine today we'll begin shipping needed suppies and materials. It was nice to note that all our counties leaders jumped on the blower and put together a fast response. Today will be a critical day for anyone who is trapped in the rubble. How much are the Chinese sending?
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
