Wow, that didn't take you long at all! Congrats on the new job!

One of my sisters used to work for Lego when my kids were younger ... they loved getting Lego toys every year at Christmas and their birthdays from their Auntie (as she liked to be called).

I accepted a Software Architect position with Electronic Arts here in Austin. The job doesn't involve the actual game software itself though it's all internal systems. It's more money (which I should just direct deposit to UCLA) and way better benefits. And my two nephews and brother-in-law are totally happy with what'll become a windfall of games each year at Christmas time. Here's to hoping that the EA corporate culture disallows PHBs rather than embracing them as my previous employer (I'm really liking the sound of that more and more!) did.
