>Do you really think the cost of health care will continue to rise even more than it has been? That even more people will be uninsured? Honest questions, not being sarcastic. If so, I will find that hard to believe.

I see a more median level of healthcare coverage occurring. No more terrible policies and no more excellent policies. While it helps those at the lowest end of the income scale, it hurts everyone else. That is the price of socialism though. I don't think Obama is a socialist in everything (so please don't start spouting the you don't know what socialism is stuff), but right now the bill that may go through is definily socialist in many respects. It is "equalizing" the healthcare coverage of all americans (well, except for the special interest groups Obama made deals with) and it will get to be mediocre across the board eventually because the costs to employers and employees for the really good policies will be too extreme (just look at the 40% tax as one example). Note, I am referring to insurance coverage and not medical care. Sometimes mediocre insurance coverage equates to mediocre medical care, but we'll see if that comes to pass.
