BTW, he dissed Kenny G.? Why? Did someone ask him for his take on elevator music? Back in 1999, Kenny G's single, "What A Wonderful World" used overdubbing of Louis Armstrong's classic recording. Many jazz musicians criticized Kenny G for this, but no one was as harsh as Metheny. Here's Metheny's entire statement:
