Yes I've seen Moon and thought it was excellent.

Another redundant bit of Star Trek was the scene with Scotty in the plumbing. I was looking forward to seeing the film which added to my disappointment.

>Boring is right Nick, but then again, I never was really into the whole trekkie thing anyway. And the scene where Kirk(?) is chased by a monster thingy on the ice and snow seemed to me like an after thought to add some gee whiz special effects. It reminds me of the snow monster thingy in Star Wars that catches Luke.

>If anyone wants to see what I'd call a "real scifi" movie check out "Moon". No gee whiz monster thingies but at least it has a decent storyline and is right up there with "2001".

>>>Just watched it today (I know months late). Really enjoyed it. It is one I might watch again. Probably wouldn't have been quite as good had I not seen every single Star Trek tv show and movie :o) It was those little snippets that reference stuff in the later shows that made it really good.
